Education
Ms. Quinlan Griffin earned a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and Political Science from the University of Southern Maine in 2004. She graduated summa cum laude and was awarded the esteemed David Fulham Social Justice Award for her demonstrated commitment to serving her community.
Ms. Griffin earned her Juris Doctorate from Arizona Summit Law School in 2013 as a Merit Scholar recipient and received recognition for the hundreds of hours of pro bono services she provided.
Work Experience
During law school, Ms. Quinlan Griffin was a legal extern for the ACLU of Arizona, and worked on several noteworthy Arizona civil rights litigations, including racial profiling in the Maricopa County Sheriffs Office, the elimination of the Mexican American Studies program in Tucson Unified School District and inmate medical negligence lawsuits against the Arizona Department of Corrections.
Ms. Griffin was a legal extern for the Phoenix Public Defenders Office, working in mental health court and assisting the public defenders with all aspects of case and trial preparation.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Griffin joined the Maricopa County Public Defenders Office as a law clerk and later a trial attorney. As a trial attorney, Ms. Carter handled hundreds of felony cases ranging from possession of drugs to Second Degree murder.
